In addition, as dictated by tradition, each page of the Book of Revelation was marked with the Quimbanda ponto riscado of Saint Cyprian, and set alight, the ashes mixed in the oil. A seven night vigil was held with prayer and offerings to the Saint while the oil sat and gestated Exu Meia Noite, the Midnight Exu, who is the patron and teacher of Saint Cyprian by Quimbanda tradition.

The oil is used most properly to annoint statues, images, and objects to dedicate their use to the heiromartyr Cyprian. While the oil is from the Afro-Brazilian tradition of Quimbanda, anyone with a special devotion to this Saint will have great use for this oil.

No instructions will be given with this oil, although decorum and aesthetic will accompany the oleum appropriately. All vegetal, mineral and animal ingredients are legally obtained.
