The Old Man is elusive, an antlered prophet on the mountain- he is hunted, not harvested. For those he favors, there is great medicine- equilibrium and rejuvenation running in the veins.

This is an oil in tribute, made in concert with and under the tutelage of, White 'Sang, American Ginseng (Panax quinquefolius). Drawing from the pacts and alliances of the Root to those who hunt him in honor, this oil becomes tool to know him, strengthened and walking on his own land, even when the worker may not perform such pilgrimage. Here is a lore that is both deep and old, but not married to an inherited text of those who tread this land most heavily. If the Man-Root is courted well, if we find and meet his discerning gaze, our mannikin becomes Medicine and Dream: the ability to heal, to invoke justice and balance, the Green-Walk made manifest.
